SHARE Oxford Seed Library
Our new Seed Library is here to help you share seeds, rewild your garden and grow your own herbs and food.
Run on donated seeds, please think of us when you have any surplus seeds and save seeds from any harvests (where possible). Seeds are free to take but we ask that you donate back others to help us grow!
We love wildlife friendly plants, herbs and food plants especially.

Tips for use
Prepare ground and check growing instructions before sowing. Wildlife seeds are chosen to be suitable for our local area.
If re-wilding your lawn, it helps to scarify dirt in autumn and have a range of heights of grass - without cutting too often. Some insects benefit from longer grasses for example, and clover flourishes in shorter areas. All wildlife benefits from more cover and diverse native plants so your garden can be lovely and low maintenance - over winter especially!
Notes on returning
KIT LIST: Seeds, box, tray.
The Seed Library stays here but do take some of our seeds! We ask that you return other seeds - either the harvest from the seeds you took (where possible) or any others.
